About Macon Love Rugby

Playing for Middle Georgia since 1999

Mission

To expand the reach of rugby in Central Georgia by providing an inclusive and welcoming community for players of all backgrounds and skill levels. We are dedicated to fostering both competitive excellence on the field and strong, lifelong friendships off the field.

Values

  • We welcome all individuals, regardless of age, gender, or experience level, into the Macon Love family. Our strength is built on solidarity and teamwork, ensuring that everyone feels respected, valued, and included.

  • We are passionate about growing the sport of rugby and sharing our love for the game with the wider community. We are committed to developing every player’s physical and mental potential, from complete beginners to experienced athletes.

  • We uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity, both for ourselves and our opponents. This foundational value guies our conduct on and off the pitch, building a reputation of fairness and honor.

  • Our club is more that just a sports team; it is an active and positive force within the Macon community. We build strong local ties through outreach, partnerships, and social events that bring people together.

  • We understand that rugby is not a sport for individual superstars, but a game built on trust and collective effort. Every player is accountable to their teammates, contributing their unique role for the good of the club.
