Who can play with the Macon Love?

Currently we are accepting players over 18, both men and women.

Do I need prior experience?

No prior experience is necessary. We welcome players of any skillset. The club is not only concerned with the competition aspect of rugby, but growing the sport within the Macon community. We welcome the chance to teach the sport that we love to new players.

What should I bring to practice?

The number one thing to bring to practice is water. We highly recommend cleats(or boots as ruggers call them), but they are not necessary.

Do I need special cleats for Rugby?

The short answer to this is no. There are rugby specific cleats available, but the club members are wearing a variety of different styles from Soccer to Football cleats.
